I was fined a few days ago for driving under the influence of an alcoholic state . I appeared immediately before the criminal court which punished me with a suspended prison sentence , a 3-month suspension of my driving license . The magistrate also said that I had to install an 'immobilizer breathalyser (EAD)' on my car which prevents me from using my car if I'm drunk . Is this EAD device effective against recidivism of alcohol while driving ?
